A pattern is a named move for a problem that keeps coming back. So the shape of this library is the shape of the problems that kept coming back — grouped by the kind of drift each one names its way out of. 43 patterns, since May 2026.
Primitives and presentation that have to travel between pages without falling out of sync.
Proving a thing works and shipping it — without trusting a job that quietly stopped.
The floor every surface stands on — the baseline that holds the portfolio against drift.
On-standard: web fonts loaded, and h1/.kicker/.lede/em come straight from
assets.gf.cx/page-header.css — serif-italic masthead, green accent, Atkinson body.
Structure mirrors dare/sitemap; every count is derived from the library's own meta.json by
tools/patterns_sitemap_render.py, whose taxonomy validator refuses to ship until each new pattern is categorised — so this map can never silently drift from the library.
